2019 Peugeot 508 SW Redesign, Spy Shots, Release Date, & Price – Before this year, French automaker Peugeot debuted a new and very chic 508 sedan. The 508, equally inside and out, is gorgeous, with a sharp exterior design and upscale interior. Peugeot, simply being the European company which it is, is incorporating a new body style to the 508 lineup – a station wagon. The 508 SW requires the classy sedan and provides an elongated roof and hatch at the rear, improving interior capacity and flexibility whilst covering it a much more appealing package.
The noticeable nostrils bring over from the sedan to the SW with a lot of sharp design outlines up front. The scallop down the side of the 508 SW produces an elegant crease down length of the way, just under the greenhouse, that runs into the rear taillight housing, which is of the identical design seen on the sedan. One added touch to the rear is the PEUGEOT lettering focused on the hatch just under the window.
Inside, the 508 SW gets Peugeot’s i-Cockpit which includes proliferated across the company’s range of merchandise. This means the 508 SW will get the same small steering wheel and high-installed 12.3-inch tool panel from the sedan. There is a 10-inch centrally fitted touchscreen that gives entry to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Peugeot Mirrorlink, and 3-dimensional navigation. An eight-speed automatic is the only available transmission with the 1.6-liter mill. Customers may also have the option of choosing from one of three diesel engines which range in size from 1.5 to 2.0 liters. Power output is 128 hp (95 kW), 158 hp (118 kW), and 177 hp (132 kW). A six-speed manual is only available with the 128-hp engine. Usually, the only gearbox is the eight-speed automatic. In the second half of 2019, you will have a gasoline plug-in hybrid version of the 508 SW created available. The Peugeot 508 SW is forbidden fresh fruits in North America.
