2020 Lexus LC “Luster Yellow” Edition Specs, Engine, Redesign, & Price – Lexus appears to believe that the LC luxury coupe and the color yellow are a perfect match, something that is not at all easy to disagree with. We’ve been viewing a share of yellow Lexus LCs lately, including at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. That’s exactly where the LC Ideas Series wore a Flare Yellow paint. Then we discovered the couple rocking the same color last four weeks at the Paris Auto Show where the LC Yellow Edition debuted.
Now it is time to focus our interest on Lexus’ home market, in which the company recently revealed the LC “Luster Yellow” limited edition model. Available at dealerships across Japan for only two weeks (October 31-December 31), this special edition model is comparable although not identical to the European model. For starters, it adopts a Naples Yellow exterior paint which gives the car a little bit of a glowing gleam. The color suits the LC’s sculpted bodywork brilliantly and is accompanied by 21-inch forged aluminum wheels. The second option features a polished finish off and black-colored pockets.
The body color is echoed inside by the bright yellow door sections as nicely as the yellow sewing on the seats, dashboard, central armrest, steering wheel, and gearshift handle. The car also sports exclusive CFRP scuff dishes with “LC Limited Edition” lettering in yellow. Finally, the headliner, sun visors, pillars, and parcel shelf are covered with Alcantara.
As you can envision, the LC “Luster Yellow” comes full of features. Standard equipment includes a color head-up display and semi-aniline perforated leather front seats with air flow and warming. The front seats are also 10-way power adjustable, with the driver’s seat featuring recollection settings as nicely. Lexus provides the “Luster Yellow” package for equally the LC 500 and LC 500h. Prices start at ¥14,350,000 (around $127,130) for the V8 model and ¥14,850,000 (about $131,550) for the hybrid.
